GMail als Beispiel für eine wirklich gute Web-Application

Ganz allmählich setzt sich zumindest bei denen, die etwas genauer hinsehen, die Erkenntnis durch, dass das bahnbrechende an GMail eben nicht 1 GByte "Free Space" ist!. GMail ist das erste komplett web-basierte E-Mail-System das so gut - in mancher Hinsicht besser - ist, wie die lokalen, PC-basierten Programme. Das zeigt, das web-basierte Applikationen eine ernsthafte Konkurrenz für klassiche PC-Softare und Client-Server-Anwendungen sein können! Die Behauptung, dass GMail so gut funktioniert wie Outlook auf einem ordentlichen PC, halte ich für etwas übertrieben. Aber nicht viel. Und es kommen einige Vorteile dazu, die Outlook nicht bietet. Die Auflistung der Vorzüge web-basierte Software in Artikel deckt sich nahezu Wort für Wort mit meiner eigenen Meinung dazu. Dann muss es ja stimmen, nicht wahr?

Was GMail so bemerkenswert macht, ist auch, dass das alles ohne irgendeine Form von Rich-Client-Technologie funktioniert. GMail ist ausschließlich XHTML, CSS, JavaScript und viel Cleverness (some of the cleverest JavaScript ever written) - wie die neue Oberfläche von Blogger.com übrigens auch ...

ich habe zufälligerweise Ihre Internet seite besucht. Mich interesiert diese gmail hack. Aber wie mache ich das. Das programm galina möchte ich benutzen aber komme nicht weiter. Können Sie mir weiterhelfen.
